Black Friday started off as an annual tradition in America however it has spread around the world and today is the big day!
The final Friday of November is set aside for a day where retailers provide drop down prices in time for Christmas shopping. It has often become a manic day where shops open at midnight and there are queues of people keen to get a bargain before Christmas Day. It is expected that £555million will be spent online alone, making it one of the biggest shopping days of the year!
It can get chaotic however and even this morning in the UK, police have been called to supermarkets in Manchester to tame the crowds!
If you can, calmly, get out to the shops today or even online there are bargains to be had with some retailers dropping prices by over 60% – for one day only. So, how will you be spending the day? Will you be out to get a few Christmas bargains?
